Youth-2-Youth Summit

In September 2017, a youth led summit, held in Tyendinaga Township, saw 150 youth and 50 youth leaders participate in an awesome day. Led off by Ryan Porter through a keynote talk and workshop, youth learned the importance of civic engagement. This was followed by a World Café style where everyone discussed eight themes. These themes included mental health, environment, sex education/substance abuse, economic development/entrepreneurship, gender equality/diversity, filling community gaps, social media and youth poverty.
