Local Labour Market Plan (LLMP)

Developing an understanding of the workforce challenges that local employers face can only be done with the input of employers, Chambers of Commerce, Economic Development, business associations and key community organizations. Through collaboration with these groups, the Centre for Workforce Development can help determine the best way to invest resources into local workforce development. This is achieved through the labour market planning process. In February 2018, the Board released the three-year strategic Local Labour Market Plan. The 2018 Report is also available in French Planification Stratégique du développement de la main-d’œuvre 2018 -2021. In March 2019, the Local Labour Market Plan Update was released. Read the update to find out what actions the community has worked on and what is next! The 2019 Report is also available in French Prendre le pouls de la main-d’œuvre
